When I joined Datorama over two and a half years ago, I was responsible for building our partner program and partner ecosystem around the Datorama Marketplace, which hadn’t yet been established. At the time, I knew very little about the partner evaluation, recruitment, commercial models and incentives, as the foundation required to develop a successful partner program — let alone build a full-fledged ecosystem. Prior to joining Datorama, I had spent the majority of my career in different product management roles, so this was my first foray into the world of Partnerships and Marketplaces.
This felt like an overwhelming undertaking in the beginning, but I was fortunate to have been given ample time and support by management to figure things out.
