As business leaders, we have had to adapt quickly to the changing circumstances caused by the Coronavirus pandemic. We’ve all had to rip up plans for the future and start again. And equally, in leadership roles, we may have had to alter how we plan and forecast. But nevertheless, it remains vital to create as much predictability for customers, employees, and investors as possible.
Salesforce’s recent move to give people the option of working from home until August 2021 and to grant extra leave to parents is a great example of this approach. Having an ability to plan ahead and to manage family life allows people to bring more energy and focus to their work lives. For some, it may even create an opportunity — they might choose to spend part of the year living
