Claudine Warren spent the first several years of her career working in the field of molecular biology. But when an eye condition disrupted her 20/20 vision, she found herself at a crossroads.
“My training and background is in a field that requires perfect vision. You have to have 20/20 vision, or you can’t work in that field anymore,” says Claudine. “Suddenly, I had to figure out what career to pursue now that the one I’d spent my whole life building was no longer an option.”
Not too long after exploring her options, Claudine discovered Salesforce and began teaching herself how to be an admin. Today, she is the Senior Salesforce Administrator for Welltok, and is proving every day that visual impairment doesn’t — and shouldn’t — disqualify someone from a meaningful and successful career.
