Today is World Teachers’ Day — a day observed since 1994 which serves to recognize teachers, honor their achievements, and celebrate educators across the world who’ve devoted their work to global education and ensuring that no student is left behind.
World Teachers’ Day is celebrated annually in October.
An international day created to recognize teachers worldwide couldn’t come at a better time. The COVID-19 pandemic, as it’s done with so many other things, has spotlighted just how much teachers do to support each student’s educational journey.
